    March this year is the month with the most public holidays and where there are often variations from year to year and from State to State as to what days are the public holidays.

    Employers covered by Modern Awards will need to ensure that they are meeting their obligations in relation to the payment of penalty rates on these days. Businesses that are covered by an enterprise bargaining agreement should refer to that Agreement to determine what their obligations are.
